Case Study Sheds Light on Valuation Model for Ideas in Islamic Azad University's Knowledge-based Centers

In a groundbreaking study conducted at Islamic Azad University, researchers have identified the key factors that contribute to the evaluation of innovative ideas in knowledge-based centers. The study, which focused on the knowledge-based centers of Islamic Azad University, aimed to develop an evaluation model that accurately assesses and values innovative ideas, empowering idea owners and knowledge centers to recognize the intellectual value of their creations.

Knowledge-based centers are renowned for their emphasis on fostering innovation and creativity. Through interviews and the distribution of questionnaires, the researchers collected valuable data for analysis.

The evaluation model for innovative ideas in knowledge-based centers was found to consist of five main components:

  1. Individual Characteristics and Characteristics of the Idea: This component explores the personal attributes of idea creators and examines the distinctive features of the ideas themselves.
  2. Internal and External Factors: The evaluation process takes into account both internal and external factors that influence the success of innovative ideas. These factors encompass resources, infrastructure, market conditions, and competition.
  3. Organizational Structure: This component focuses on the organizational structure of knowledge-based centers and how it impacts the evaluation and implementation of innovative ideas. Factors such as leadership, decision-making processes, and communication channels within the centers are considered.
  4. Transnational and Global Environment: Knowledge-based centers operate within a broader transnational and global environment. This component investigates the influence of the global landscape on the evaluation and development of ideas.

The study revealed that each of these components holds specific importance and weight within the evaluation model. They are interconnected, forming a comprehensive framework that guides the assessment and valuation of innovative ideas in knowledge-based centers.

To ensure the reliability and validity of the evaluation model, the researchers employed various methods, including expert opinions, expert reviews, and the application of Cronbach’s Alpha. These measures were taken to ensure the robustness of the model and its applicability in real-world scenarios.

The findings of this study have significant implications for knowledge-based centers, idea owners, and decision-makers involved in fostering innovation and creativity.
