We are delighted to share that Chief Samuel Chidiebele Ugochukwu, an esteemed recipient of the Pebble Hills University’ Honorary Doctorate, has been prominently featured in Cutting Edge African Magazine. This recognition underscores his significant contributions to entrepreneurship and philanthropy, highlighting his vital role in fostering societal growth.

Born on April 16, 1985, in Nsugbe, Anambra East LGA, Anambra State, Chief Engr. Ugochukwu is a distinguished entrepreneur and philanthropist. As the founder and chairman of Nippon Group Ltd., he has established a diverse conglomerate that includes companies such as Nippon Furniture and Steel Co. Ltd., Nippon Safety Concerns Ltd., Nippon Construction and Property Development Ltd., and Nippon Luxury Homes.

Raised in a middle-class family, Chief Engr. Ugochukwu excelled in his studies, graduating with honors from Ogbunike Boys High School. He furthered his education at the International University of Management and Administration (IUMA) in the Republic of Benin, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. His entrepreneurial journey began in the early 2000s with various ventures, including a computer and phone call center.

In 2018, he launched Nippon Safety Concerns Ltd. to focus on safety products, followed by Nippon Construction and Property Development Ltd. in 2020. His latest initiative, Nippon Luxury Homes, specializes in managing and marketing residential properties. A passionate advocate for fitness, he also founded the Emirates King’s Club of Nigeria, a leading fitness center.

Chief Engr. Ugochukwu’s remarkable achievements have garnered him several prestigious awards, including the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Award for Outstanding Support and the Emirate Kings Award for Excellence.

He is happily married to Barr. Mrs. Chinenye Maureen Ugochukwu, and together they are raising three children.
