Pebble Hills University (PHU) is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Technology and Arts of Byumba (UTAB) in Rwanda—marking a significant strategic partnership between the two institutions.
About UTAB
UTAB is an accredited community-based university located in Gicumbi District, Rwanda. Founded in 2006 as the Institut Polytechnique de Byumba (IPB), UTAB has grown into a respected higher education institution known for its practical, community-focused approach.
UTAB offers degree programmes through three main faculties:
- Education
- Social Sciences & Management
- Agriculture/Environment
Across these faculties, UTAB emphasizes hands-on skill development, impactful research, and community development initiatives—preparing graduates to address real-world needs in areas such as teaching and leadership, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship.
